epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is a polyphenol and makes up about a third of the dry mass of green tea.
EGCG polyphenols are said to have many positive effects. According to a publication by the Medical Faculty of Saarland University, many positive effects on the body have been found. The HCVo does not allow the name to be mentioned directly and it was too expensive for us to find out whether this evidence from research in Saarland is sufficient. Dosage: Daily intake of 800 mg EGCG per day or more has been shown in tests to increase blood levels of transaminases, an indicator of liver damage. Some research suggests a safe intake level of 338 mg EGCG per day.
