HIGH-PERFORMANCE SHRINKAGE-COMPENSATED SEALING AND WEDDING MORTAR
Ready-to-use hydraulic mortar. After mixing with water, a mortar of fluid consistency is obtained. Complies with standard NF EN 1504-6 (sealing), standard P 18-821 (wedging). Application thickness: 5 to 150 mm per pass.
- Sikagrout-217 is free of chlorides and metal particles that oxidize on contact with moisture. It protects steels from corrosion due to its basic pH.
- Possible contact with drinking water (CLP)
- It has very high mechanical resistance, in compression and bending.

- It is shrinkage compensated. A controlled expansion system occurs after the mortar is placed and compensates for the action of the first and second shrinkage.
- Its adhesion is excellent on concrete, mortar and steel. It ensures a monolithic bond and is resistant to shocks and vibrations.
- It is not affected by significant variations in humidity or temperature; it is resistant to water and oil.
- It is resistant to sea water and sulphate water.
- It has good resistance to internal frost and flaking.
- Can be mixed with Sika® Charge C (outside the scope of the NF mark).

Layer Thickness
Application thickness: from 5 to 150mm per pass.
For application thicknesses greater than those given in this leaflet, use SikaGrout® -234 or SikaGrout® -238 Filled.
Fluidity
Initial fluidity at Marsh cone (according to EN 455) – 15 sec
Product Temperature
The temperature (product, environment, support) must be between +5°C and +35°C.
